Update

Whatever my sister has, it looks like she needs to have her Gallbladder removed. What is a Gallbladder? According to an online encyclopedia, it is "a pear-shaped sac attached to the underside of the liver, beneath the ribs, in the right upper part of the abdomen." Check out this diagram if you want an exact location. Its function is to receive bile, and to store and concentrate it for use when needed in the process of digestion...gross eh? So anyway, my sisters is coming out sometime in the next few days. Hopefully this will fix her all up. Updates forthcoming. Thanks for your prayers.

Police Blotter

Since I'm not in the mood to write anything funny, so I'm going to introduce this new segment in my Blog. The following is an actual newspaper article from The Blue Water Voice, St. Clair, Michigan's hometown redneck newspaper. Every week they report the areas police incidents, which in themselves are not funny. It's the way they are written. You'll see what I mean...

Police Blotter
Weddings often put people in the mood for romance and one Florida couple couldn't resist the urge during the break between the wedding and the reception on Sept. 6, according to police. A Marine City woman flagged down police to report suspicious activity in a bay at a coin-op car wash in town. Police responded and found a vehicle in the bay described by the complainant. Police noted two subjects in the driver's side of the car. Police approached and banged on the window, startling the unclothed couple, who quickly separated and began dressing. They told police they were in town for a wedding and were in between the ceremony and the reception. Police advised them to leave the area.

COLD

It is freaking cold outside! From the beginning of summer until now, me and the memory groupies have been going out at lunch and playing horseshoes. It's a fun game...in the summer. Today we went out thinking the weather wasn't too bad (it's wasn't raining) and were in for a chilly surprise. It's amazing how quickly a 37 degree air temperature a 10 mph wind can get a person so cold! Of course having wet metal horseshoes in your hand doesn't help much either. I think this will be one of the last times we go play for the season, otherwise we'll be digging our shoes out of 6 inches of snow!

Costumes

Since I may be going to a Halloween party, I've been searching around for some good costume ideas. According to this website, there are a ton of cheap, homemade costumes that are easy to make. I'm leaning towards a pirate because pirates are just plain cool and I happen to have a pirate shirt from a shopping trip to Crossgates Mall in Albany. The other one I liked was this:
Cereal Killer
Attach little cereal boxes to a shirt, cut a slit in the boxes, glue in plastic knives into the holes, drip red paint running down from the knife hole in the box.

A good costume and you get to eat the cereal after. Cool eh?

Slacking

Howdy Folks! As you can see, I've been severely slacking on keeping my blog up to date the last few days. FYI, the Canadiens won 4-1 in a very exciting game. It was even more exciting after the game when my friend who was driving had an unfortunate run-in with a concrete poll in a Montreal Parking garage. Ouch. Minus the bumper bender, it was a good time. More later.
